iPad Pro Pre-orders Start Nov 11, in Stores End of Week

Apple finally made it official: iPad Pro pre-orders start Wednesday, November 11th, and will be in stores later this week. The Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard, both accessories for the new 12.9-inch iPad model, will also be available for pre-order.

iPad Pro pre-orders on Nov 11The iPad Pro is Apple's latest addition to the iPad lineup. It sports a 12.9-inch Retina display, making it the largest iPad model to date. The Pro also packs in a 65-bit A9 processor, stereo speakers on all for corners, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Touch ID, and some models include LTE wireless data connections, too.

Apple Pencil is a pressure and angle sensitive stylus designed just for the iPad Pro. It uses a Lightning connector to charge, and can juice up enough for a day's work in only a couple minutes.

The Smart Keyboard is a keyboard and case combo for iPad Pro. The cover attaches magnetically and also serves as a stand to prop up your iPad while typing. The keys use a dome-shaped mechanism and are all sealed inside the case so there isn't any chance dirt and other gunk can get underneath them.

iPad Pro is priced at US $799 for the 32 GB Wi-Fi only model, $949 for the 128 GB Wi-Fi only model, and $1,079 for the 128 GB Wi-Fi and LTE model. All models are available in silver, gold, or Space Gray.

Apple Pencil costs $99, and Smart Keyboard is priced at $169. Apple is also offering polyurethane Smart Covers for $59 and silicone for $79 in charcoal gray or white.
