Apple promised pre-orders for the ,iPhone and iPhone 6 Plus would start on Friday, September 12, but didn't say exactly what time. Thanks to Apple's carrier partners, we know that time is 12:01AM pacific time, which means there will be a lot of people up early Friday morning placing orders.

The iPhone 6 line was unveiled on Tuesday at a special media event at the Flint Center in Cupertino. The new models are available with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch displays, 8MP cameras with improved image sensors, higher resolution displays, 802.11ac WiFi, NFC mobile payment support, a new motion coprocessor, thinner bodies, and more.
The iPhone 6 is available in 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB capacities priced at US$199, $299, and $399. The larger iPhone 6 Plus costs $299, $399, and $499 for the same capacities.
Pre-orders can be placed online through the Apple Store website, as well as the AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint websites. Apple will have the new iPhone models in stores next Friday, September 19.
