Lightroom Adds Support for a Slew of New Cameras, Lenses

Adobe announced the immediate availability of Lightroom 4.2 on Wednesday. The update for the professional image management and editing app for the Mac added support for a long list of new digital cameras and lenses.

Lens profile support was added for a long list of new lenses from Canon, Leica, Nikon, Pentax, Sigma, and Sony.


The update also addressed several bugs related to stacked photos and folders, the Navigator Panel, Facebook sharing, exporting JPG images for Photoshop Elements, and more.

Lightroom 4.2 is a free update and is available through Adobe's in-app update feature.
