macXware has released four new font collections for commercial use. Each font collection, Classic, Refined, Designer, and Creative, features 150 OpenType fonts each. From macXware:
macXware (a division of Summitsoft Corporation) announced today the release of their long awaited font collections for personal and commercial projects. The four new collections each feature 150 OpenType fonts for commercial use in either Classic, Refined, Designer or Creative styles, and include a 10-computer license to use the fonts in a variety of for-profit, commercial or personal projects across your organization.
"Our MacFonts and MoreMacFonts personal use collections received tremendous praise from the Mac community but were not specifically tailored to professional graphic designers, print shops and creative artists who required font solutions for commercial projects," states Ishan Amin, Summitsoftis VP of Product Development. "macXware has met these professional needs by packaging 600 OpenType fonts into affordable commercial use collections that no other font foundry can match."
The OpenType font format provides a distinct advantage over TrueType, PostScript and other font formats. These include a single cross-platform compatible font file for easy font management and improved document portability between the Mac and PC platforms; ability to embed fonts into PDF projects; superior print quality; improved language support with an expanded set of international characters including the Euro currency symbol; and, advanced typographic control where a single font file may contain many nonstandard glyphs such as small caps and stacked fractions.
All four font collections are available now from macXware for US$99 each, or US$299 for a four-pack.
