Heading into the holidays, more games have swelled the ranks at the App Store, including MTV Networks North’s SpongeBob Jellyfish Jam, Psychoz Interactive’s zombie shooter Dead Strike, and more. In addition, Tapulous celebrated 20 million installs in the Tap Tap series by announcing that Tap Tap Revenge 3 is free.
SpongeBob Jellyfish Jam (US$2.99) features three musical mini-games: Bubble Bongos, Jellyfish Groove, and Let’s Rock!. Players can save their musical creations and share them with friends, and they can post their high scores on Facebook, where the SpongeBob Jellyfish Jam app is free to play.
Dead Strike ($1.99) features 46 levels full of zombies to kill with a flamethrower, chainsaw, mini-gun, and other weapons. The storyline involves four survivors trying to deliver a sample of the virus that caused the zombie outbreak to a hospital on the other side of the city. They soon learn, however, that there’s more to the virus than they realized.
Other new games at the App Store include: the maze game Schrödinger's Rat (is it alive or dead?); Grand Chase Lite, a mobile version of the medieval fantasy MMO Grand Chase; the match-three game bitFLIP; the simulation strategy game Karnival; the action puzzle game FingerStone; and the shooting game Attack! Mad Bunnies.
