New Games at the App Store: Pulse: The Game, More

The latest games to hit the App Store on Monday were led off by the music title Pulse: The Game (US$4.99), in which players tap the screen to the beat of the music – success drives the pulse line higher and allows them to reach a song’s samples. They then lock in the samples and play those notes, bringing them into the song and enabling them to go after more samples, until they create complete songs. Pulse’s six levels feature six tracks created for the game by Ferry Corsten.

Other new games include the match-three action puzzle game Babo Crash ($0.99), billed as “not your daddy’s boring old match-three,” and Tiki Bongk ($1.99), a puzzle game in which players drag colored blocks to match the color of the Tiki jumping on them.
