nova media Updates Mobile High Speed With Expanded Device Support

nova media has released a new version of Mobile High Speed for Mac OS, bringing it to version 3.11. MHS for Mac OS is a wireless network utility designed for the management of wireless connections. The latest version features support for SonyEricsson T616 mobile phones. According to nova media:

nova media now offers full suppport for a SonyEricsson T616 mobile phone in its GPRS/HSCSD connection manager software Mobile High Speed Version 3.11.

Mobile High Speed for MacOS can be used to establish mobile high speed GPRS and GSM/ HSCSD connections for Internet, Remote Access and FTP connections, supporting nearly all major mobile network carriers worldwide and most mobile phones from Motorola, Nokia, Philips, Siemens and SonyEricsson.

Mobile High Speed detects mobile phone and mobile network carrier automatically and offers the choice of available connections: GPRS, HSCSD or GSM. The Mac OS is then configured automatically to use this connection instantly by pressing the connect button in Remote Access or Internet Connect. Thus, the user is freed of the necessity to search for information like APN and DNS numbers, quality of service parameters or modem scripts.
