Real Soccer 2010 on iPhone Features Real Players, More

Gameloft has released Real Soccer 2010, a follow-up to its popular Real Soccer 2009 game featuring a FIFPro license enabling the use of real players' names, eight leagues, 245 teams, 14 3D stadiums modeled after the real ones, and voice play-by-play commentary, which was missing entirely from the previous version.

Players can also now go head-to-head against others online or locally via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and they can improve their worldwide ranking by playing official matches through the publisher's Gameloft Live! service. In addition, they can show off their favorite replays with direct uploads to YouTube, and an RSS feed in the main menu displays all the latest soccer scores. The game's players database updates automatically to reflect recent changes in the real world.

New game modes in Real Soccer 2009 include Enter the Legend, in which gamers can fill the shoes of their favorite player during not only entire matches but also complete careers too. In Club Master mode, players guide their favorite team through a season, making trades and other personnel moves when necessary.

Pricing is US$6.99 and iPhone OS 2.2.1 is required.
