Curious Sense on Wednesday announced the release of Find Your Own Way Home, a casual game for Mac and PC starring rock band REO Speedwagon and featuring more than 70 levels of hidden object scenes, puzzles, and other mini-games. Curious Sense noted in a press release that the demographic for casual games - adults over 30, with more than half of them women - "overlaps well with the REO Speedwagon audience.”
The storyline behind the game involves the player in the role as an entertainment reporter who is on assignment with the band and must locate its missing lead singer, Kevin Cronin. As they make their way through the game, players reach milestones that unlock prizes, including two cuts from their new album, “Not So Silent Night: Christmas With REO Speedwagon,” and a golden ticket that makes them eligible to possibly win concert tickets and meet the band backstage.
Everyone who buys the game also receives a discount coupon toward the purchase of the new album. Find Your Own Way Home is available from MacGameFiles as a 131MB download. The license is US$9.95, and system requirements call for Mac OS X version 10.4.11 and an Intel or PowerPC processor.
