Smile Adds iCloud to PDFpen, Which is Also Now Available for iPad

Smile on Wednesday announced iCloud support for its PDF editor PDFpen, which is also available now for iPad. iCloud support is automatically included in the new PDFpen 5.7 and PDFpenPro 5.7 released to the Mac App Store, and users who update to the new version directly via Smile can buy the US$0.99 app PDF Cloud Access at the Mac App Store to receive the new functionality.

With PDFpen for iPad, users can add text, images, and signatures to PDFs, make corrections, resize and delete images, and fill out forms. PDFs can be annotated with comments, highlighting and drawing tools. The thumbnail view sidebar makes it easy to skim documents, which can also be copied, combined, and renamed.

PDFpen for iPad sells for $9.99 and requires iOS 5. PDFpen and PDFpenPro 5.7 for Mac OS X are free updates for registered owners of version 5 and require Mac OS X 10.7.2. PDFpen is $59.95 and PDFpenPro is $99.95, with reduced upgrade pricing and various multi-license packs and site licenses available.
