Swedish developer Snarb.tk announced the release of Cover Stream 2.6, the latest version of the company's iTunes controller application for Mac OS X. The application lets users browse, control and search your music while featuring a desktop cover flow, a search filter, player notifications, Last FM support, visuals and a fullscreen jukebox mode.
Version 2.6 adds the following features and fixes:
- A new popup control panel to the desktop status bar that adds full control over iTunes playback.
- Ability to see the iTunes cover art and set track ratings.
- Improved podcast support.
- Improved launcher utility.
- English, French and German language support.
Cover Stream 2.6 requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later and iTunes 7.5 or later to install and run. The software retails for 14.95 Euros ($20.80) and upgrades from previous versions are free of charge.
