SubEthaEdit 3.1 Makes Collaboration Easier

TheCodingMonkeys announced version 3.1 of SubEthaEdit on Friday. The new version make sit even easier to collaborate with automatic port forwarding, iChat invites and more.

Automatic port forwarding makes it easier to make the outside connection and bypass manual configurations. SubEthaEdit now supports all routers with UPnP or NAT-PMP capabilities to make internet connections nearly as easy as local ones.

iChat invites allow the user drag and drop the person from the iChat buddy list to a document for an automatic invite. (Requires Mac OS X 10.5.)

Friendcasting allows the user to see the contacts of someone being collaborated with and easily connect. This feature can be disabled for privacy.

SubEthaEdit 3.1 allows a group of people to simultaneously work on and edit a document. It interfaces with many popular IDEs and FTP programs. SubEthaEdit requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later. It is priced at ?29.00.
