This nerdy bit of paradise allows you to, "take precise and reliable measurements of wind speed and wind direction" and get the results on your iPhone or iPad with a free companion app (there's an Android app, too). There are no electronic parts in this thing, and it's resistant to water, sand, and dirt. Neat, eh? It's priced at US$44.95.
