    Great piece by a journalist who has been in the thick of it:

    Reading this article reinforces my belief that the biggest prize in the digital ecosystem wars is control of distribution of media.  Apps are important, and games are important, but the real bucks are in movies, TV, music, books, magazines, etc. 

    That’s why Amazon has to get in the game in a bigger way than Kindle.

    First player to a billion registered credit cards wins.  Google, Facebook, Microsoft, RIMM, Netflix and Hulu are not serious contenders.  Only Apple and Amazon can get there.
