Rumo rs and speculation have abounded for months, but it's finally here. At today's Worldwide Developers Conference keynote, Steve Jobs announced what we'd all been waiting for: The PowerMac G5. Sporting one or two 64-bit G5 processors running at 1.6-2.0 GHz on up to a 1GHz bus, support for up to 8GB of 400MHz DDR SDRAM, an 8X AGP Pro slot filled with a GeForceFX 5200 or a Radeon 9600 Pro, Serial ATA technology, a 4X SuperDrive and three PCI or PCI-X slots all in an all-new aluminum enclosure, the new model is a large step up from its predecessor
