Appl e executives reassured analysts that OS X was on track, while developer enthusiasm for the hot new Mac OS at WWDC is strong. Apple executives apparently don't look at the OS X release reschedule as much of a delay. Reuters' reported that Phil Schiller, Apple's head of product marketing claimed, "What we were calling the first final version is now called a public beta."
