Other World Computing announced on Monday the release of two new Mercury SuperDrive Internal Upgrade Kits for Apple's 13" MacBook and 15" MacBook Pro pre-Unibody notebook computers. The new drives offer faster read/write speeds for DVD+/-R/RW, Dual-Layer DVD, DVD-RAM, and CD-R/RW; with burn speeds of up to 8X for DVDs and 24X for CDs.
