Last
week, 3dfx taunted the gaming world and gave Mac users a glimpse of what's to come by announcing that their new Voodoo5 5500 AGP graphics card was shipping. However, the card has yet to make its way, in quantity, to retail store shelves. A quality control check at 3dfx turned up a problem in some of the cards, and shipping was held back allowing the cards to be checked.
