12 Days of Gifts Finally Scores with Hugo

| News

Apple's 12 Days of Gifts promotion hasn't been something of a big "meh" so far thanks to the choice of free offerings, although today's download steps it up a notch. Instead of songs and games, today Apple is offering Martin Scorsese's Hugo -- the popular fantasy movie that follows the adventures of an orphan trying to unravel the mystery of an automaton his father was repairing before his death.

Movies typically sell on the iTunes Store for between US$12 and $20, which makes today's free download a nice deal. Adding in the fact that it's Hugo makes the deal even better.

To find out about the free downloads you'll need Apple's 12 Days of Gifts app for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. It's a free download at Apple's iTunes-based App Store.

Hey I don’t have a iPhone or iPad but my brother does and I asked him what the freebie was and he told.  I went onto my mac and looked it up on iTunes and that movie is free for everyone you don’t have to have the app to get it.  I think a good post that TMO could do is post was that free apps are for each day so people that can’t get that 12 day of gift app can still get the free gifts

So I downloaded it at work since I have a fast connection, but anyone know how to get it out of iTunes here and back home into iTunes? Export Library?

Definitely the best gift so far; I’ve been wanting to see this and it removed any excuses I had.
