4-Sight FAX v6 Faster; Adds Apple Address Book Support

Soft Solutions Inc. announced Wednesday version 6.0 of its 4-Sight FAX Mac OS X fax server software.

The new version delivers a 5x speed improvement, OS X address book support, and automatic fax notifications even when the program is closed.

For multiple fax server customers, other new features provide the ability to centrally monitor and manage all faxes from a single client. New Caller ID capabilities are built into version 6 and integrated within the fax log. Furthermore, Caller ID provides the capability to create black lists and block repetitive unwanted junk faxes.

The company estimates 4-Sight Fax will be released in the first quarter of 2005. A downloadable public beta will be available in late December.
