4D Web Mail Lite 2.0 Now Shipping

4D, Inc. has released 4D WebMail tLite version 2.0 and itis source code. 4D Web Mail Lite is an email client used for cross-platform email sending/recieving. The souce code release allows developers the ability to imbed the program in 4D applications. According to 4D:

4D, Inc., publishers of the 4th Dimension RAD/RDBMS Environment and 4D WebSTAR Server Suite, today announced the immediate availability of 4D WebMail Lite 2.0 and its source code.

Cross-platform, 4D WebMail Lite 2.0 allows end-users to read, reply, forward, send and file email within any browser. 4D WebMail Lite 2.0 is compatible with SMTP, IMAP and POP3 email servers, and supports virtual hosts. Users can send and receive attachments, tailor mail formatting, append signatures, manage contact information with a built-in address book, manage their calendars with the integrated iCal calendars and search their mail.
