The Apple Developer Connection (ADC) Web site has posted a new article, "Taking Advantage of the Accelerate Framework," to its Developer Transition Resource Center, which was set up to provide assistance to developers working on the switch-over to Intel-based Macs.
The article explains how the Accelerate framework "abstracts low-level details of vector-based code so your Mac OS X application will run on either PowerPC-based or the upcoming Intel-based Macs, without processor-specific customization." It shows developers how to add Accelerate framework libraries to their Xcode projects.
