AOL Desktop for Mac Gets Leopard Support

AOL released a public beta of a new version of its AOL Desktop for Mac on Friday. The beta promises to offer support for Mac OS X 10.5, support multiple email accounts including .Mac and Gmail, and more.

The new AOL Desktop for Mac marks the first major update to the application in over five years. It improved load time, added tabbed navigation, supports AOL Instant Messenger, and improved overall security.

The AOL Desktop for Mac public beta is free to download, and is available at the AOL beta project Web site.
