ARD 3.2.2 Improves Network Reliability

· by · News

Apple released Apple Remote Desktop 3.2.2 and Apple Remote Desktop Admin 3.2.2 on Tuesday. The updates for the remote computer access and management applications now use unicast packets for improved network reliability.

The update also improved reliability for the Copy Items command, and fixed issues with the Force Quit All Applications and Copy Items to Computer Automator actions. ARD Admin 3.2.2 can still control and observer ARD 2.x clients, but will not be able to perform any other functions on those machines.

Apple Remote Desktop 3.2.2 and Apple Remote Desktop Admin 3.2.2 are available for Mac OS X 10.3.9 and 10.4.x via the Software Update application, or as downloadable installers at the Apple Support Web site.
