Adium X 1.1 Improves Interface, More

· by · News

The free instant messaging client Adium X received an update on Monday bringing it up to version 1.1. Adium X 1.1 sports several interface improvements including the ability to orient tabs vertically or horizontally, tabs now display a chevron to indicate overflows, and buddy list positioning is remembered when connecting external displays.

The new version also better handles file transfers, displays user names in the chat transcript viewer, improved compatibility with several online chat services, fixed a memory leak, and more.

Adium X 1.1 requires Mac OS X 10.4. It is free, and available for download at the Adium Web site.
