Apricorn on Tuesday introduced Aegis Portable, a 2.5-inch external, bus-powered hard drive with USB 2.0 connectivity. Itis available in 40GB (US$109), 80GB ($149), 120GB ($219), and 160GB ($289) capacities and comes with a padded neoprene pouch, along with backup, synchronization, and encryption software. Apricorn said that a FireWire version of the drive will be available later this year.
