Apple Distinguished Educators to Teach at DLexpo

California Event Management announced Monday several Apple Distinguished Educators (ADEs) are scheduled to teach at the first annual Digital Lifestyle Symposium, to be held at the Long Beach Convention Center, August 13 through 15.

Speakers will include New York Timesi columnist David Pogue, Andy Ihnatko from the Chicago Sun-Times, Colin Smith of Photoshop Cafe, David Barrett of R/com Networks, and Appleis Rhonda Stratton.

The Expo begins on Friday, August 13, when Dvcreators.net kicks off the show with a special session on digital video editing using Final Cut Pro. The session is $59, with discounts available for students and teachers. Workshops run throughout Saturday and Sunday and vary in length from one to three hours. The Symposium takes place in the main theater and covers web technologies and digital photography on Saturday, and digital video and digital music on Sunday.

With a valid educator or student ID, entry into the expo is $5, workshops are $13 each, and the 12-hour, two-day symposium is only $29.
