· by Kyle D\'Addario · News

On upward trending traffic, Apple made a strong push to regain the top spot in this weekis PC Data Top 10 rankings. Drawing nearly 1.5 million visitors, Apple finished second on the list to the firmly entrenched number one, Compaq. However, Compaqis lead over Apple continues to shrink, and more importantly, traffic to the Apple site continues to grow. There were no newcomers in this weekis list, with all the major hardware players: Gateway, HP, Dell, IBM, and Intel staking their claim. Last weekis upstart ETracks stayed in the Top 10 and joined other computer resellers Outpost and Egghead.
