Apple Enhances its Xserve RAID to 10.5 TB Storage

Apple has made 750 GB drives available for its Xserve RAID product which raises the maximum capacity to 10.5 terabytes (TB). The Apple Website was quietly refreshed on Tuesday. Anuj Nayar of Apple told TMO that these units are available immediately.

The previous systems, using fourteen 500 GB drives (7 TB), remain priced at US$12,399 base price. Opting for the 750 GB drives raises the price of a full capacity baseline system (10.5 TB) to US$13,799.
