Appleis Get a Mac ads win the Grand Effie award.

The Get a Mac campaign features John Hodgman as PC and Justin Long as Mac in a series of commercials that tout the features of Macintosh computers over rival Windows PCs.

"After much spirited discussion, the jury unanimously awarded Apple the Grand Effie for its portrayal of the Mac/PC rivalry," said John Butler, Co-Creative Director of Butler Shine Stern & Partners and the 2007 Grand Effie Jury Chair. "They managed to do it with humor, class, and honesty without falling into the trap of overtly negative competitive advertising."

Other marketing campaigns that made the final running included My Life. My Card. for American Express, Got Milk? for the California Milk Processor Board, Not Even Once for the Montana Meth Project, Pedigree Adoption Drive for Pedigree, and Bodygroom for Philips Norelco.
