Apple Q2 Earnings Report Scheduled for April 23

Apple will conduct its second quarter 2008 earnings conference call on Wednesday, April 23 at 2PM pacific time. The event will be webcast live, but a link is not yet available.

Investors and analysts will be watching closely to see if Apple reports strong iPhone and Mac sales, and will also be watching to see if iPod sales show a stronger climb than in recent quarters.

Appleis first quarter 2008 earnings were the best in the companyis history with US$9.6 billion in revenue and net quarterly profit of $1.58 billion. Mac sales showed a 44 percent growth with 2.319 million units shipped, and five percent iPod growth rate with 22.121 million units shipped.

The company offered second quarter guidance for $6.8 billion in revenue and about $0.94 EPS.

Apple is currently trading at $126.01, down 1.34 (1.05%).
