· by · News

Apple has released Mac OS X 10.2.4. The update appears to be almost entirely made of bug fixes, with a few other enhancements thrown in. The Finder, Address Book, printing, networking, and specifics such as support for LaCieis d2 48x12x48x disc burners, and compatibility with Civilization III have all been added. From the brief notes in the Software Update Control Panel:

The 10.2.4 Update delivers enhanced functionality and improved reliability for the following applications, services and technologies: Address Book, Classic compatibility, Finder, FireWire, Graphics, OpenGL, and Sherlock. It includes AFP and Windows file service improvements, as well as audio, disc recording, graphics, and printing improvements

For a full list of bug features and other improvements included in this update, read the Knowledge Base article Apple has posted. The KBase article says that Apple has posted a standalone updater for 10.2.4, but that standalone download has not been added to the Software Update database as of this writing.
