A pple released a security update for Mac OS X 10.3.9. Security Update 2005-005 addresses "a number of security enhancements," and Apple is recommending it for all Panther users.
The security patch updates the following components:

- Bluetooth
- Finder
- Foundation
- Help Viewer
- lukemftpd
- sudo
- Terminal
- VPN
- X11
The security update weighs in at 6.4MB, and can be found in the Software Update control panel, if you are running Mac OS X 10.3.9. Apple has posted detailed information on the update, including exactly what was fixed in each of the above-listed components, at its support site.
