Apple Remote Desktop 3.1 Addresses Security Issues

· by · News

Apple Computer released Apple Remote Desktop 3.1 on Thursday. The update to the remote computer control and management application addresses a security issue where a local user could modify packages used to install or upgrade other client machines. It also improves remote computer management, asset management and asset reports, adds better support for remote right-clicking, and more. The client and administrator updates are free, and available via Software Update, or as downloads from Appleis Web site.

Additional information about the update is available at the Apple Computer Web site.
