Apple Rolls Out Pro App Updates

Apple released updates for several of its pro-level applications on Wednesday including Final Cut Pro, Motion, Color, Compressor, and Soundtrack Pro. Apple also released Pro Application Update 2007-001 to fix the underlying frameworks and shared components for the Final Cut Studio applications.

The Final Cut Pro 6.0.1 update added improved stability, support for the AVCHD format through the Log and Transfer interface, fixed an issue with long file names, improved master template support, and more.

The Motion 3.0.1 update improved stability and performance, and fixes issues with 32-bit float projects, rendering of intersecting 3D groups, and improves Final Cut Pro integration.

The Color 1.0.1 update improved application stability, metadata support for Final Cut Pro, single-display mode, NVIDIA graphics card support, and more.

The Compressor 3.0.1 update improved overall performance and stability, and improved compatibility for Apple Devices.

The Soundtrack Pro 2.0.1 update improved application stability and performance, and the Delay Designer surround effect plug-in.

All of the updates are available through Appleis Software update application, and as stand-alone installers from the Apple Support Web site.
