Apple Starts Online Retail Store Survey; Offers $10 Discount

· by Brad Gibson · News

Readers of The Mac Observer have brought to our attention a new online consumer survey Apple Computer began earlier this week regarding customer satisfaction with a recent visit to an Apple retail store.

The survey -- which the company estimates will take "about 20 minutes to complete" -- asks common demographic questions such as age, sex, current employment status, the number of recent visits to an Apple retail store, satisfaction of the visit, and occupation.

In return for taking the survey, Apple will send participants via e-mail a US$10 discount coupon for a future purchase of $100 or more at any U.S. Apple Store retail location.

Apple is guaranteeing personal information and responses to the survey will not be shared with other companies or organizations.
