Apple Store Offline Leading Up To Showtime Event

· by · News

The iTunes Music Store went offline earlier today, and now the online Apple Store is down, too. The usual "Weill be back soon" message has replaced the product listings. With both stores unavailable, the rumors that Apple is introducing a movie download service and a refreshed iPod product line seem even more plausible.

New Apple products are on the way.

Apple scheduled a special media event for today, and send members of the media invitations that said "Itis Showtime."

TMO will be providing coverage from the event at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco. It is scheduled to begin at 10am Pacific time.
