Apple To Webcast Semi-Annual Financial Analyst Meeting Tomorrow

Due to recent rules changes from the SEC that require corporations to make information given to analysts available to the public, Apple will be webcasting their semi-annual analyst and shareholder meeting. That meeting will be held tomorrow afternoon, and Apple will be offering a live QuickTime Streaming broadcast of the event. Apple will also be offering an archived version of the meeting through the end of February of this year. According to Apple:

WHAT: Apple® will provide members of the media and the public a live audio webcast of its semi-annual meeting for financial analysts.

WHEN: Wednesday, January 31, 2001, 1:30 p.m. (PST)/4:30 p.m. (EST)

WHERE: Members of the media and the public can access live audio streaming of Appleis financial analyst meeting utilizing QuickTime™4, the industry-leading multimedia software for live and on-demand audio and video streaming. The webcast will be accessible through Appleis Web site at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/qtv/analyst_meeting_q101/. Listeners simply need to download a copy of QuickTime 4 in advance from www.apple.com/quicktime to listen to the meeting.
