Apple Trademarks ‘MacExpo’

· by · News

Apple has trademarked the term "MacExpo," according to a Macworld UK news report that cites an item at AppleInsider. Apple filed the trademark in categories related to paper and publishing, advertising and business processes, and education, exhibitions and seminars. The company previously registered the term in Europe, which covers usage in Spain, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Portugal, UK, Ireland, Denmark, Greece, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Finland and Luxembourg.

As AppleInsider and Macworld UK both pointed out, XPO Group has been hosting an annual MacExpo in London and Germany. Itis unclear if thereis a connection between that event and Appleis trademark.
