Apple’s QuickTime 7.4 Cripples Adobe After Effects

Appleis QuickTime 7.4 is causing problems with Adobeis After Effects, according to a discussion on Appleis Support Forum. There are indications that Apple knows about the problem and is working on it.

Some users, including professionals who work at TV stations, are pleading with Apple to fix the problem quickly. A few have found work arounds and have described them. Some have used Time Machine to put their Mac back into a previous state. Others are scrambling to find Macs without the update.

One user wrote: "I just wrote Apple Support an e-mail requesting acknowledgement of the problem and some indication that theyire working on it. Iill post anything I hear."
