Aspyr announced on Monday that is is currently working on bringing Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars to the Mac. The online strategic battle game pits Earthis Global Defense Force against an alien invasion.

Players work through campaigns to protect the planet as humans, or attack Earth as the alien Strogg. Players can also choose to complete individual missions to gain experience and rank. Earth troops use over 40 different conventional and futuristic vehicles, deployable structures and defense systems.
The game uses Id Softwareis Megatexture rendering engine to create unique environments without repeating elements, extends landscapes to the horizon, and offers inch-level detail.
Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars will be available for the Mac later this year. Pricing information is not yet available.
