Atomic Bird Updates Macaroni With Self-Repair Features

Atomic Bird has released an update for Macaroni, bringing it to version 1.3.4. Macaroni is an automatic maintenance utility designed for regular system clean up. The update features a self-repair feature. According to Atomic Bird:

Why should you have to remember to clean up your Mac once a week, or once a month? Shouldnit a computer be able to remember for you?

Macaroni is a tool which handles regular maintenance for Mac OS X. Normally these tasks run on a regular schedule, in the middle of the night. However if you donit leave your Mac on all night, they never run. Your Mac wonit wake from sleep to handle this.

New in this release:

  • Macaroni now repairs itself when necessary, to recover from file corruption and keep maintaining your Mac
