Backup Utility Released From FWB

FWB Software, LLC has released a new version of BackUp ToolKit, bringing it to version 3. BackUp ToolKit is a backup file manager. The new version has OS X support and new features including password encryption and folder comparison function. According to FWB Software:

FWB Software, LLC, a leading developer of storage software solutions for the Macintosh, today announced the immediate availability of BackUp ToolKit version 3. Developed by FWBis French partner Tri-Edre, the latest version of BackUp ToolKit represents FWBis first entry to the Mac OS X software utility market. The "Carbon" version of BackUp ToolKit not only gets a new user interface, but also includes many exciting new features.

Apart from Mac OS X support, BackUp ToolKit also includes many exciting new features including a brand new interface, password encryption for compressed files, and a folder comparison function to ensure folders or volumes are identical. Also new is a streamlined configuration panel for programmed backups and a powerful backup mode called Evolutive Mirror backup.
