Positive Spin Media has released an update for BombSquad, bringing it to version 1.2. BombSquad is an OS X version of the popular Minesweeper game with a twist. The update fixes a few bug issues and adds a new "Zap Click" feature. According to Positive Spin Media:
Positive Spin Media is pleased to announce the availability of BombSquad 1.2, an updated shareware game for Mac OS X.
BombSquad takes the good looks of Mac OS X and its Aqua interface, and mixes it liberally with the popular Windows Minesweeper puzzle/game. The result? A nimble rip-off of a classic game.
New in 1.2:
In addition to a few bug fixes, BombSquad now allows users to "Zap Click" a number if the adjacent bombs have already been marked. This will reveal the surrounding squares without you having to click them off one by one.
Games now end with a "Fortune Cookie" - a clever saying or quote to cheer your day. Additionally, registration has been greatly simplified from the previous version.
You can find more information about the BombSquad update at the Positive Spin Media Web site. BombSquad 1.2 is available for US$5.00.
