Pariahware has just released a new app for the nostalgic, ChimeX 1.0. ChimeX is an alert utility designed for chiming at selected times, like that found in Classic. The app ships fully customizable with sound file support and spoke time. According to Pariahware:

Just in time to ring in the New Year, Pariahware releases ChimeX 1.0

ChimeX brings back the hourly chime that was lost with Classic! Have your computer speak the time, play a System 7 sound, or play your computeris standard alert sound on the hour, on the half, and on the quarter hour... All fully customizable!

You can find more information about the ChimeX 1.0 release at the Pariahware Web site. ChimeX 1.0 is available for US$5.00.
