Computer Systems Odessa Corp. has released the final version of their conversion utility, allowing Visio files to be ported into Concept Draw format. The utility allows users of Concept Draw to more easily exist in a Microsoft-ian world. According to CS Odessa:
Computer Systems Odessa Corp., today released the final version of Visio to ConceptDraw file converter, a free utility for conversion of documents created in MS Visio to ConceptDraw file format.
The converter allows to convert MS Visio documents into the ConceptDraw format providing seamless data exchange with the world of Visio users.
The file converter relies on the OLE technology, and can work either on a local machine which has Visio installed, or as an Internet service - which means that anyone can e-mail a Visio file to the server and receive the converted file by e-mail in a short time. To convert locally, the user can download a free utility from the ConceptDraw site. The Internet service is also free of charge.
This service is intented to give additional benefits to ConceptDraw users and make for easier integration with other popular flowcharting software.
