Cumulus Gets Unix Support

Canto has announced that their content management and publication system, Cumulus 5, is now available for Unix. Cumulus is a complete package for sharing, managing, and publishing various types of multi-media content. According to Canto:

Cumulus 5 is the perfect archiving system for multimedia data (aka media assets). The Cumulus 5 platform also offers a flexible base for any kind of workflow solution for assets in production. Cumulus is a high-end application for managing and publishing all types of media assets such as images, layouts, presentations, video, audio and text. The program offers powerful search capabilities, comprehensive customizing options, e.g. user-definable fields, and Internet access, incl. HTML export, e-mailing and more.

The Cumulus product line consists of three Editions: Single User, Workgroup, Enterprise, as well as additional Options offered either by Canto or Partner companies.

Canto Now Shipping Cumulus 5 for UNIX. The Cumulus 5 server software now supports UNIX.

Cumulus 5 SIngle User Edition is available for US$99.95, while the Workgroup Edition is available starting at US$995. You can find more information at the Canto web site.
