Alexander Wilson has released over 75 toolbar icons for Mac OS X users. The icons are designed for the Internet Explorer toolbar, and present users with the ability to customize the look of the popular browser. The custom link icons feature eight different categories, including Apple/Mac related and Music/Entertainment. According to Alexander Wilson:

Writer and creative artist Alexander Wilson today introduces over 75 icons which any Macintosh OS X user may drag and drop to the Internet Explorer toolbar for customized links to favorite websites.

Eight categories are available on the site, including Amazon.com, Apple/Mac related, Entertainment, Music, Nonprofit, Software, Web Resources, and World (News & Info). Wilson also provides a list of tips for getting the most out of using the icons as well as instructions for deleting them later.

Wilson says it began as a project for personal use. "The iFavoritesi beneath the toolbar just didnit give me enough space, even after I abbreviated all the links best I could. Amazon.com was listed as iAMZNi and The Motley Fool was iTMF,i but there were just too many sites I visited regularly to fit along that strip."

You can find more information about the toolbar icons at Alexander Wilson Web site. The icons are available as free downloads.
