DEVONtechnologies has released an update for DEVONthink , bringing it to version 1.7.3. DEVONthink is a personal data management tool designed for organizing data, ranging from pictures to source codes. The update features improved text functions and HTML to RTF conversion via WebKit engine. According to DEVONtechnologies:

DEVONtechnologies updates DEVONthink to version 1.7.3. The new version is optimised for Mac OS X 10.3 "Panther" (but still runs on Mac OS X 10.2), comes with new features, improvements and fixes.

When running on Mac OS X 10.3 ("Panther"), DEVONthink Personal Edition now features a "Special characters" command to open the character palette and new menu commands for auto-completion and the new text styles. Also, the conversion of HTML to RTF(D) now uses the WebKit engine, Web links inside RTF documents are supported (useful when working with text clippings from Safari) and Word documents can be imported directly using Pantheris Word-to-RTF converter.

Oher improvements include the possibility to import ".url" Internet location files (generated by Microsoft Internet Explorer) and ".mli", ".mll" and ".sty" files.

Also, the notepad and outliner views show the number of selected words and characters, the Dock icon bounces once after successfully adding new documents to the database using DEVONthinkis Mac OS X service or DEVONagent to provide visual feedback, and many user interface details have been improved to make DEVONthink easier to use.
