Detroit Free Press Loves the iMac

· by · News

Mike Wendland writing for the Detroit Free Press recently reviewed Appleis new Intel-based iMac, and loved it. He described the new iMac as "simply astounding."

Mr. Wendland tested a 20-inch iMac side-by-side with its G5 predecessor, and noted that the Intel-based model ran substantially faster. He appreciated that the new model continues to have exactly the same expansion ports as the G5 model, and that the price stayed the same, too. He went on to recommend that Windows users looking for a new PC take a look at the iMac instead.

Mr. Wendland summed up his feelings by stating "Appleis new iMac running the new Intel Core Duo microprocessor is the finest, most reliable, stable, elegant and intuitive personal computer available anywhere."
